And then I'll have room for new ones!! (Hee! Hee! I have a fabric obsession and just can't resist those new lines when they come out!) Strawberry Fields runner and beautiful flowers

I absolutely love this line of fabric from Joanna Figuero for Fig Tree & Co. The colors come together to make such a beautiful summertime runner. I also have been taking some photos of my lilies that are in bloom right now. They are an inspiration to me as are my quilts! Have a great day and stop back again!

Some fun Amy Butler potholders

I love Amy Butler fabrics and have enjoyed making potholders with them. Wasn't too sure about this Peacock Feather fabric, but I think they turned out very contemporary and colorful. Let me know what you think!

Spring has sprung!

Yes, spring has sprung.... those massive snowdrifts in our yard are almost gone! In celebration of spring, I've been making some spring potholders and some really cute appliqued cupcake potholders. Take a look if you have time! Almost makes me want to cook! Thanks for looking!

A project finished during another snowday!

Here is my latest listing. Have had so many snow days that I managed to get this finished and listed. I like it so well, I'd like to keep it for myself. These are Heather Bailey's fabrics called Pop Garden and Bijoux. Aren't they great?? It makes me think of spring, which I definitely am hoping will be here soon. Thanks for looking!

Snow up to our front door! New Valentine runner!

Here are photos of the snow outside our home from the last two snowstorms ... one on Christmas Eve and CHristmas Day and the next storm this past week! I've been snowbound, but enjoying the time at home... lots more time to quilt! and sleep in!! and read!!

Happy New Year to all! Here's a photo of my two sons and my daughter-in-law. Aren't they a good looking crew? They all made it here for Christmas Eve and spent the holiday with us as we were all snowbound. Lots of quality time and quality eating! Had snowdrifts clear up over our windows ... 8 and 10 foot drifts!

Christmas quilt with Vintage Holiday fabric

Finished this vintage Christmas quilt and sold it in my etsy shop. Love the simplicity of these charm quilts. I think I have enough charms left to make one for myself! Finished my Christmas shopping yesterday (hopefully) and today I need to get busy wrapping gifts and finishing my Christmas letter. Merry Christmas to all of you!

Fall and winter tablerunners finished

Finally got a fall runner and a snowman runner finished for my shop. Seems like we've been busy with family and working full-time and haven't gotten a lot of quilting done. I absolutely love the fabric in both of these and wanted to share them with you.

Monkey See Monkey Do Tumbler Quilt

Just finished this monkey tumbler quilt and I have fallen in love with these little guys! The tumblers were easy to sew together and the fabric is just adorable. I'm busy making a tablerunner and a little girl butterfly quilt, so will post them when I'm finished.

Back to full-time work at school, so not as much time for quilting! Dang!!

I love these bright modern fabrics from Heather Bailey. This runner is so attractive displayed on my kitchen table for this photo. Please check out my shop for other views of it. It's been in the 90's here, so I'm trying to hibernate and stay in the house to work on a couple of baby quilts that I have started. Should get them listed by the weekend. Thanks for looking!

New rag quilt

I'm still so new to blogging, but enjoy reading lots of other ones, so I'll keep attempting to start my own.... errors along the way, but I'll keep trying!!!!

Here is a picture of my latest rag quilt. Took lots of time to do all of the machine applique and embroidery, but I love how the quilt turned out. The ducks are my absolute favorites!

My first blog

Here is a picture of one of my rag quilt creations in my etsy shop. I love to find fabrics that are made especially for boys as I have 2 sons and always thought the girl items outnumbered the boy items whenever I went shopping.
